The Man In The Mirror

Yes, I do realize this is a rip off of the late, great, Michael Jackson’s song, but I figured if the shoe fits…

Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of self evaluating.  Surprisingly enough, I’ve found that all-in-all my life is pretty normal.  Yeah I have my fair share of disagreements, but isn’t that what life is about?  The ups and downs?  So I’ve decided to sit down and give you guys a little information about me and my life.  Some of this information you may already know, but then there will probably be some new stuff in there as well.

Let’s Start Thinking

That’s right folks!  I’m starting a brand new series entitled, well, Out Of The Box!  The main purpose of this series is get everyone, including myself, up from behind their computer or in front of the television, and into a challenging situation.

So every Sunday evening, I’ll be posting a new “challenge“.  Your goal is to complete this goal before Saturday, and send me a picture or some other type of confirmation of your success.  Once I’ve gotten pictures and other confirmations uploaded, I’ll add them to the new Out Of The Box page on the blog.  If you are unable to send in a picture via the internet, take a picture on your phone and send it to me, or just send me an email explaining what you did and how you felt afterward.

I’m hoping that through this new social experiment, I can get all of you more involved in Fondly Phil.  I’m really excited about this and I hope you all are too!  So look out this Sunday evening, or Monday morning, for your very FIRST Out Of The Box challenge!

Good Luck!!

Phil

A New Day Leads To…

A New Look!

My best friend, Jay, has revamped his blog, American Jeremy!  Complete with a new banner and  “About Me” page, American Jeremy boasts a brand new page entitled, American Jeremy TV, which also appears on YouTube.

The artistic merit, as well as the up-front style of writing, all pours from the fingertips of Jay himself.  His beliefs and interests are all laid out for you; the guessing game is thrown out the window.

So do a friend a favor, and go check out the new and improved American Jeremy page.  You’ll definitely be pleased with what you see!

**And keep a look out for a new “tag-team” effort between Jay and I.  We’ll be teaming up to bring you a brand new blog!

Fondly,

Phil

Take A Cat Nap

While browsing my local internet search engine, I came across a rather bizarre assortment of photos.  After much consideration, I decided that it’s only fair to let you all in on this collection of fantastic feline “fotos”!

Taking A Leap of Faith

A couple of weeks ago, I got the privilege of preaching at my home church, St. John’s Episcopal Church in Halifax.  This was my third sermon to be presented, and I was extremely excited about sharing how God worked in my life throughout the summer.  Now it’s a rather long-ish sermon, so if you don’t feel like sitting here and reading the whole thing I completely understand.  However, I hope you can take away something from what you do read.

Not the best shot of me...but you get the idea.
